Weinig brings the next generation to W16
In 2004, Weinig began a new era for planning and profiling with the introduction of the Powermat series. Now, Weinig’s next generation is the all-new Powermat 700 which sets the highest standards for four sided processing with the most user-friendly moulder on the market.
Featured on the Weinig Group’s stands around M810 at W16, the new Powermat 700 incorporates Weinig’s experience from all markets over the last decade.
The new Powermat series underlines Weinig's position as the technology leader in standard machines for planing and profiling. For workshops, the new Powermat 700 entry model ensures production in Weinig quality and with maximum profitability, regardless of the batch size. The combination of proven technology and innovation offers a future-proof investment and enables all wood working professionals to gain the necessary edge over the competition to help ensure long-term success in their markets.
Designed with a revolutionary new operating concept “Comfort Set”, a high number of accurate spanner-free adjustments provide improved ease of operation and very short setup times with great flexibility and in complete safety.
The smart touch function enables wireless connection between controls and tablet so the operator receives all setup-related information displayed wherever he is and whenever he needs it.
In addition to the use of energy efficient IE3 motors, a new concept has been developed for the dust extraction system which, thanks to the optimised flow of dust and chips, also uses less energy. Memory Plus means that it’s possible to make dimensional or profile changes in the blink of an eye. All settings can be stored for perfect repetition of the product at a later date.
On the tool side, Weinig offers PowerLock technology with its proven benefits of concentric accuracy and minimal set-up times. The machine’s solid cast-iron base ensures optimal smooth running and a range of options are offered so each machine can be customised to specific requirements.
Weinig also offers tools, grinders, tool measurement and automation to help exploit the full performance potential. The new Weinig System Plus allows all elements - from profile drawing to set-up of the Powermat 700 - to be networked.
In solid wood manufacturing today, flexibility is the key. Whether you are switching from making ‘A’ energy rated timber windows to creating workpieces with complex shapes, Weinig’s Multirex CNC uses the very latest technology to make easy work of the most challenging manufacturing, opening up new production potential.
Weinig’s long understanding of the changing needs of solid timber processing makes all the difference. The Multirex CNC features innovative and robust clamping technology specifically developed to guarantee the precise machining of solid timber components.
