The NEC is located in the middle of the UK, eight miles east of Birmingham city centre.

By car:

Visitors from any direction can travel to The NEC site directly using the following motorways – M6, M40 and M42. SatNav users should input the postcode B40 1NT.

By train:

The NEC is adjacent to Birmingham International Rail Station. If your point of origin does not provide a service directly to Birmingham International you will need to travel to Birmingham New Street first and get a connecting train from there.

Information for Disabled Visitors

The NEC offers good access for the disabled. All levels of the NEC are accessible to wheelchair uses via ramps or lifts. The Piazza and Atrium main entrances have automatic doors. For vehicles displaying blue badges, parking spaces are situated near to the main entrances. Additional parking is also available in the main car parks, and these are serviced by shuttle buses which are accessible to wheelchair users.

The NEC's service partner, Bartram's (Tel: 01353 778756), operate a mobility equiptment hire service. Stock can be pre-booked before the event. Manual wheelchairs are free of charge to blue badge holders, £5 per day to other visitors. Electric scooters are £15 per day for all visitors.
