For the first time ever, visitors to the UK’s only dedicated furniture components show, Elements, will be able to pre-book one-to-one sessions with leading industry experts online before arriving at the show.
Designed to simplify the booking process and help visitors to engage with the right people at a time that suits them, the simple online booking form (which can be found at www.wexhibition.co.uk/one-to-one-sessions) allows visitors to choose a date, time and subject area they would like advice on before stepping foot in the NEC.
One-to-one sessions will take place in the show’s Education Zone – situated in hall 6 – and will home experts from the furniture design and manufacturing industry. The Education Zone will be open throughout the four-day event, offering information and advice on the following areas:
- Apprenticeships and Training
- Health & Safety
- Technical Advice
Open to all, group workshops will also take place in the Education Zone by the Furniture and Interiors Education, Skills and Training Alliance (FIESTA), the British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM), the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) and Didac Training College. A complete timetable of events will be available in the Education Zone from Sunday 30th September.
Lisa Campagnola, Event Director says, “The Education Zone is making its debut at Elements 2018 and we couldn’t be more excited about the line-up. Designed to support and advise visitors on key issues in the industry, we want Elements and its sister show, the W Exhibition, to be a driving force behind the industry’s future and support both experienced professionals and those new to the industry. We want people to utilise this area as much as possible and take advantage of what is on offer. We hope that by launching an online booking portal and being transparent about what our experts can offer, visitors will be able to plan a visit to our Education Zone into their day. We have several specialists taking part in the one-to-one sessions and group workshops with a wealth of experience. Now is the time to benefit from their knowledge of the industry.”
