SCM To Launch New Machines on 7,000 sqft Stand
With an interactive exhibition space of over 7,000 sqft, woodworking machinery giant SCM Group will be demonstrating over 20 of its machines and dedicated software solutions on its W16 stand from the 2nd-5th October at the NEC, Birmingham.
Making its first appearance at the woodworking and machinery exhibition, the Cyflex HP CNC drilling centre is SCM’s compact solution for batch-one production. Thanks to two drilling heads with independent Y-axis, the smart CNC-Drilling centre can process blade-grooving and routing operations on five faces of the panel. Working together simultaneously, this allows for an uninterrupted working cycle and removes the need for manual interventions when switching between jobs.
The solid machinery line-up will also include live demonstrations of the new Startech CN CNC universal drilling centre, a new Universal NB boring and CNC working centre, K560 Airfusion edgebander and the multifunctional Planet P800 working centre for drilling, routing and edgebanding.
SCM engineers and technical staff will also be on hand to talk you through the very latest CAD/CAM software packages for edgebanding, automated processes, panel sizing, housing, beams and walls.
Gabriele De Col, Managing Director of SCM Group UK adds, “In the last few years, SCM has introduced new production methodologies that have been designed to increase production. This year, visitors can get a taste of the latest product innovations and learn how they can stay ahead of the competition with SCM.”
