Coastal Group expands team of technical advisors

Leading door and window hardware manufacturer, Coastal Group is pleased to announce the addition of several new technical advisors to its customer service team.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lee, Andy and Gemma to the Coastal team,” said Loren Jenner, Managing Director at Coastal Group. “Together they have over fifty years in the trade, from working in technical joinery to liaising with customers on door and window projects. Their wealth of experience means we can further enhance the level of support we offer to customers.“

These talented professionals bring extensive expertise and industry knowledge to the expanding company, based in Cornwall, further strengthening the company’s commitment to customer service.

“The new advisors will work closely with customers to offer guidance and assistance across a range of areas,” continued Loren. “From selecting products to troubleshooting and discussing technical specifications.”

Coastal Group manufactures 316 marine grade stainless steel handles, hinges and more for timber, composite, PVC and aluminium doors and windows, and is the UK’s leading supplier of Winkhaus multipoint locks.

Trade customers can also purchase door and window systems including PC Henderson’s HS Portal Comfort Unit and Roto’s Inowa sliding door systems, along with all components and complimentary hardware.

“Customer satisfaction is always our top priority,” concluded Loren. “By expanding our customer service team with people of Lee, Andy and Jemma’s calibre we are reaffirming this commitment.”

The new staff members bring Coastal’s team of specialist advisors to seven, who are on-hand daily to assist customers with questions around compatibility of products, functionality or maintenance.

“Everyone has been so welcoming,” said Lee. “I’ve been a customer of Coastal’s for many years as I had my own joinery business, so it’s a pleasure to be on the inside, assisting others in the trade with technical queries. Skills shortages are a challenge in traditional joinery so if I can help by passing on some of my knowledge and experience then I’m happy.”
